Daily Duties at Us Army ( Hhb 3 393 Tsb):
Supervised the resourcing of mobilization efforts of over 4000 soldiers for Homeland security and validation of troops deploying to Iraqi freedom out of Fort Bliss Texas. Coordinated activities of clerical and administrative personnel in establishment of organization. Prepared and delivered presentations and reports to corporate officers or other management regarding human resource management policies and practices and recommendations for change. Developed performance standards and evaluated work in light of established standards. Developed and wrote procedures for installation, use, and solving problems of communications hardware and software. Read technical manuals and brochures to determine equipment which meets establishment requirements. Assigned work to employees, using material and worker requirements data. Coordinated the communications support during mobilizations and annual training events of 5 state area National Guards. Coordinated the Combat Lifesaver program resulting in over 90% of the battalion becoming certified as Combat Lifesavers. Coordinated activities of workers engaged in cataloging, distributing, and maintaining educational materials and equipment in curriculum library. Developed tests, questionnaires, and procedures to measure effectiveness of curriculum and to determine if program objectives were being met. Inspected and authorized repair of instructional equipment. Observed, evaluated, and recommended changes in work of teaching staff to strengthen teaching skills in classroom.
