Daily Duties at Petsmart:

Develop strategies to achieve sales results through business analysis, action planning, effective communication and consistent accountability. Create and execute strategies to exceed profitability expectations for the store in sales, payroll, shrink and conversion. Solely responsible for managing P&L. Facilitate all HR processes and functions as determined by the corporate standard operating procedures. Hire, recruit, promote and retain talented candidates to drive the business. Manager of five supervisors and up to forty-five associates providing cross-functional team training, coaching and mentoring. Promote a positive culture and an open door policy. Implement new company initiatives, ensure utilization and manage staff performance. Perform supervisor and associate quarterly and yearly reviews. Ensure a consistent quality store experience for customers.
