Daily Duties at Quaker Oats:

I worked for Quaker Oats from 1994 - 1997 until they divested their 8 Food Service division plants for which I was the Corporate Q.A. leader. In those three years I computerized all 8 plants with on-line SPC workstations, executed a new Supplier Quality Process and was lead auditor for my division. They asked me to return to work for them in the Contract Manufacturing arena at their Chicago HQ from 2000 - 2003 until Pepsico bought Quaker Oats which dismantled the Quaker succession plans for high performers for which I was one, at which time I left the company for an advancement opportunity.

What they like about Quaker Oats:

Organizations with strong, centralized leadership are particularly attractive to you. You require a work environment with leadership that aggressively seeks to expand and grow the business and does so in a visible and decisive manner. In general you prefer to work in an environment in which there is a strong link between leadership, its actions, and a strong set of company-wide values.
