Daily Duties at Chicago Public Schools:

 Coordinated articulation meetings  Assisted with coordination of College Fairs & Tours  Coordinated Registration & Orientation for Freshman and Returning Students  Responsible for the identification of social/emotional, academic and environmental barriers for high school students.  Provided and implemented life-skill prevention resources  Coordinated community service activities for students  Provided individual counseling  Frequently met with College Admissions Counselors to refer future students  Communicated effectively and developed a rapport with students and parents. Monitored student progress and held regular meetings to discuss students’ academic progress  Scheduled students for Choices Planner (online interactive web based portfolio) and assisted them in effectively using the program  Test Coordinator for EXPLORE/PLAN Testing for grades 9-11  Coordinated the Second Chance Program to reduce failures among Freshman and Sophomore students
