Daily Duties at Nightingale Home Health:

Assisted in building the new Auditing department for this organization from the ground up, and in the development of auditing tools to perform auditing functions. Audited clinician electronic record documentation for adherence to Conditions of Participation and compliance with CMS, State, and Third Party Payer rules and regulations, and those mandated for Home Health Care Agencies. Also performed Clinical Oversight by maintaining records of individual state and individual clinician findings, compiling reports for trends and outcomes. Provided clinician education by direct e-mail, telephone or by phone conference as part of individual state meetings. Began working with home base (Indiana) clinicians, within six weeks began overseeing compliance for two of the agencies outside states, Minnesota and Texas, and ended by overseeing five states with the addition of Illinois, California and Nevada.
