Major accomplishments include:  Project Managed Datacenter consolidation and Disaster Recovery Plan.  Build out datacenter server farms with VMware and HP Server Clusters for redundancy and disaster preparedness using a mix of blade and standard servers. (over 300 server images)  High availability solution for LAN and SAN storage data fabric to provide multipath and increase uptime and availability for higher end user productivity.  Managed Data Move with attention to risk and neglible loss of productivity.  SAN connectivity in a multipath dual switch environment using Cisco 9509’s, and replication of data to secondary site for disaster preparedness.  Conversion of tape backups to Virtual Tape and Disk backup utilizing Netbackup and Datadeduplication software and hardware.  Installation of Citrix 4.0 thin client environment to replace distributed server and remote access capabilities, providing a seamless desktop in all locations.  Installation and turn up of data MPLS network  Installation and turn up of VPLS secondary WAN over internet  Installation of multiple carrier internet portal to provide access against a single carrier outage via load balancing  Failover/High Availability of WAN circuits to allow automatic backup of AT&T circuits. With an automatic failover and manual failback configuration for less user interruption. Manager responsible for:  IS budget of $1.5 million  WAN and LAN performance ( High Availability fabrics in Copper and Fiber)  Internet Firewalls, Content Filter Engines, Tipping Point IDS/IPS appliances and Virus Servers  Active Directory, DNS, DHCP  Backup Software ( Backup Exec and NetBackup in Datacenter )  Corporate server farm that encompasses 225 physical and 120 VM Hosts  Hitachi NSC SAN and Hitachi WMS Disk farms  Cisco 6513’s and 3750 stackable hubs  Cisco 9509 and 9216i Fabric switches  Eight Direct Reports covering two shifts
