Daily Duties at Clearwire :
Managed 8 RF Engineers in the overall design, optimization, and construction of wireless broadband systems covering the SW region utilizing OFDM based WiMax technology. Worked with network design on all microwave and backhaul planning. Work activities included creating and maintaining an operational as well as a capital budget. Created and presented reports to large audiences outlining system performance, design status, and construction efforts for all my markets. Led my teams to timely and successful deliverables, identifying as well as implementing cost savings practices to maintain the opex/capex budgets in place. Created and submitted methods of procedures, and policies to improve the safety and effectiveness of my direct reports. Reviewed and approved all RFP’s for my area of responsibility. Researched and recommended advanced technologies to improve overall cost, and performance. Provided technical guidance, and performance evaluations for my teams.
