Daily Duties at Private:

Takes full accountability for all global IT operations and revenue-generating production infrastructures. Conducts the 24 x 7 monitoring of all data centers across four continents. Currently manages the Production Infrastructure, Corporate Infrastructure and Quality Assurance organizations. Possesses dotted line responsibility for local IT in other domestic and international locations. Partakes in pre-sale discussions with clients. Administers the entire organizations’ due/sub budget, and develops and submits capital expenditure budget.  Merged and consolidated IT processes across the technology and support departments of five separate organizations to save an average of $400,000 per year.  Evaluated, designed and implemented ‘Best of Breed’ Technologies that encompassed FW unification, DB unification and App Server Unification. An initiative that has resulted in a 100% uptime for ASP network and hardware.  Controlled fixed expenditures, and negotiated the cost effective purchase of hardware and software upgrades, resulting in the maximum utilization of productivity enhancements.  Designed and built five multiplatform Windows and Unix/Linux production data centers, three of which were international sites.  Launched international data centers online within just 4-6 weeks of closing the global contract.  Conducted a comprehensive technology analysis to successfully forecast and plan for the organization’s growth and rapidly increasing need for technology support at all levels.  Benchmarked new ‘bests’ in employee retention through employee-centered training, team building and recognition programs.  Developed, grew and promoted staff in several international locations through innovative means.  Recognized by employees for exemplary performance.  Received special nomination and recognition from the board of directors.  Initially hired as an IT Manager and was quickly promoted to Director, then VP of Information Systems for demonstrating successes in the implementation of IT global strategies, acquisition of multiple organizations and effective management of performance objectives and overall IT budget.
