Daily Duties at Raycom Media:
Setup and maintained Microsoft Server 2003 running ADS, DNS, DHCP, WINS, SharePoint, Windows Server Update Service, and VERITAS Backup Exec. Maintained rules in MS Exchange for routing of calls and faxes to the appropriate inboxes via Fenestrae Faxination. Designed, implemented, and maintained Active Directory and group policy infrastructure. Implemented and supported wireless network infrastructure, TCP/IP addressing, and subnets. Setup and maintain 60 Windows XP and Vista workstations at corporate headquarters and across 40 remote sites. Administered ongoing Trend Office anti-virus/anti-spyware procedures. Installed wiring including data and phone, rack enclosures, and server room equipment. Research and acquisition of services and hardware through HP, Dell and IBM.
