Daily Duties at Continental Automotive Systems:
Managed and directed the company Calibration Program for electronic test equipment, mechanical gages and torque drivers. Responsibility included an annual budget of $1.2M. Developed and implemented a cost tracking system to track calibration and repair costs, and developed methods to control costs. Annual cost savings for the Calibration Lab was $250K. Developed and implemented the Laboratory Management System for the Calibration Laboratory and EMC Laboratory. Both labs were accredited to the ISO/IEC 17025 Standard. Managed and directed dimensional layout activities for mechanical parts, assemblies and tooling, including; engineering prototypes, supplier parts and final product PPAP submissions. Managed the Layout Laboratory, including Brown & Sharpe CMMs (with PCDMIS), Nikon Vision System, milling machine, optical comparator, surface plate and mechanical gages.
