Daily Duties at Smarthinking Inc.:

• Developed technology strategy to support the operational systems of this company after comprehensive review of all business operations, including sales force and tutor management, forecasting and scheduling, recruiting and billing. Worked cross-functionally in teams throughout the assessment and development process to gain input and support from key stakeholders and drive the initiative forward. • Gained senior management approval for and directed major purchases of key operational systems over a three year period. Process for each system included comprehensive needs analysis, RFP development, vendor review, use case development, final vendor selection, and implementation. • Worked with sales and marketing colleagues to assess sales force tracking and data management needs. Selected CRM software (salesforce.com) to support the 20 person sales team and 3 member customer support team. • Dramatically reduced workload of Education Team and improved efficiency and margins with workforce management software (Aspect eWFM) that streamlined and refined forecasting and scheduling of 800+ tutors. • Purchased recruiting software (Job Science Talent Central) to centralize and manage the process of reviewing, tracking and selecting tutors from 2,000+ applications per year. • Introduced and directed implementation of a comprehensive Agile Life Cycle process to give the Product Planning Team the ability to effectively prioritize technology projects.
