Daily Duties at Prowess Consulting:
Lead virtualization practice expert responsible for all VMware consulting. Deliver VAC jumpstart engagements and perform architecture planning sessions. Coordinate all consulting appointments for Salt Lake office and manage and design all proof of concept engagements. Responsible for architecture and development of company-wide virtual infrastructure. Went head to head with competitor in product presentation for top client and due to communication skills and ability to ensure confidence in product, maintained client and up-sold product. Created and delivered multiple seminar presentations to large groups of perspective customers. Presentations focused on new product releases from Microsoft and VMware. These presentations resulted in increased sales for local value-added resellers. Recognized as a leading VMware product and architecture expert in intermountain region. Provided technical expertise for pre and post sales opportunities. Educated customers and implemented full suite of VMware technologies including vCenter, Site Recovery Manager, Lab Manager and View. Acted as Subject Matter Expert for the creation of several papers for clients including Microsoft, EMC, and Intel. Responsible for researching target technologies and ensuring technical accuracy. Worked with writing staff to develop outlines, create content, and review. Completed papers were published on company sites and trade publications.
