Daily Duties at Herff Jones Co., Inc:

Directed the marketing, sales service and design departments consisting of 2 product lines, 5 hourly and salaried staff members supporting 15 sales specialists nationally. •Drove 20% - 25% sales growth over 2 years through the development of a series of brochures to establish corporate identity in the marketplace. •Initiated, staffed and managed a new customer service department for the Motivation Recognition Awards Division which provided greater accessibility and product knowledge to our customers. •Increased manufacturing efficiencies by 50% by co-directing the consolidation of 2 manufacturing plants into one operation, reducing overall costs by 10-20%. •Conducted an analysis of new and existing products which resulted in a redefinition in product lines eliminating less profitable items which added new merchandising opportunities and improved overall product margins. •Formalized all aspects of trade show coordination including budgeting, advertising, staffing, booth rental and storage etc. reducing overall tradeshow participation expenses.
