Increasing levels of responsibility: Customer Director for the Delhaize-Winn Dixie Sales Team, Charlotte, North Carolina • $50 MM in frozen sales and $150 MM in grocery sales. Nine National Account Managers, two Category Managers, and administrative staff. • Increased category authorizations and assortments -- (example: led effort to replace Kikkoman Soy Sauce with LaChoy at Food Lion; incremental $500M profit per year.) Customer Director for SouthEast Frozen Foods Sales Team. Food Lion, Harris Teeter, Ingles, MDI, Winn Dixie and Publix. • Reversed 3 years of distribution losses at Food Lion. • Sales Team exceeded quota for first time in 3 years. Wal-Mart Team – Customer Marketing Manager, Irvine, California • Responsible for P&L on trade promotion budget of $50MM and sales of $300MM. • Worked closely with Club and Membership Channels in new product development, packaging design and operational capabilities. • Developed long-term account specific marketing strategies by brand. • Drove tomato products trend line +300% Director of Retail Sales, Fullerton, California • Managed Retail Sales Group for Southern and Western United States through five Team Managers, Advantage and CrossMark Broker networks. • Developed policies and procedures for newly-structured Retail Sales Organization. • Developed template for new Performance Planning Appraisal process. • Worked with ISS Programmers to develop the “Retail Management System”, the first Internet based application at Hunt Wesson. Marketing Manager, Cup Snacks – Fullerton, California • Managed Marketing staff of five. • Responsible for: P&L across 4 brands, $200 million in sales and $70 million in gross profit. Pricing and trade promotion strategies, and competitive activities analysis. • Worked closely with Operations and Engineering to develop special/new packaging designs for the Retail, Membership and Non Food channels. • Developed Private Label “Great Value” Pudding Cups for Wal-Mart. District Sales Manager – Memphis, Tennessee • Managed Direct Sales Force and Broker network with $75 million in annual sales and $1.8 million administrative budget. Western Division Project Manager – Fullerton, California • Sales Analysis, Business Planning & Reviews, Hiring and Selling Skills Training.
