Daily Duties at Mosaid Technologies:

Responsible for generating $2M in semiconductor intellectual property license sales and engineering design services while managing quotas and forecast activities in Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas for Mosaid’s SoC analog and digital semiconductor intellectual property designs, engineering services and software products including 3.0 GHz Fractional-N Digital Frequency Synthesizer Phase Lock Loop (PLL) controller, DDR Memory controller logic and PHY, and DDR PHY compilers from 130nm to 45nm technologies. Foundry partners for these designs include TSMC and UMC. EDA partners include Magma, Synopsys, and Cadence. Major customer account base includes Freescale (Chandler, Austin), MicroChip (Chandler), Honeywell (Phoenix), Qualcomm (San Diego, Austin), Conexant (Austin, Irvine), Silicon Labs (Austin), AMD (Austin), Sigma-Tel (Austin), Cirrus Logic (Austin), Alereon (Austin), TI (Dallas). Canadian parent company sold and closed US Semiconductor IP business unit August 2007. Division dissolved and technology acquired by Synopsys end of 2007.
