Daily Duties at Simsol Software:

·Web Marketing: Worked with internal coder to revamp web site; constructed site to maximize SEO. Implemented Constant Contact, Google Adwords/Analytics and a paid or reciprocal banner ad program. Provide current content to webmaster in order to dovetail company website/image with consistent branding and to update product enhancements and press releases.​ ·Public Relations/ Communications: Generate product and company press releases, execute approval process and distribute to appropriate media outlets.​ Coordinate, support, and execute public relations events to increase market awareness.​ Registered with PRNewswire (eliminated need for agency and allows simultaneous releases). · Corporate Branding/Image Management: Redesigned company logo. Create and maintain branding guidelines for company image, logo designs, printed material, and public relations, including the proper use of brands, marks, and content.​ Corporate PowerPoint expert: created template for company use to standardize branding. · Corporate Trade Shows/Customer Events/​Training: Coordinate trade show exhibitions, customer events, and sales training according to corporate plan and guidelines.​ Select and procure required materials, coordinate internal resources and third party support for events.​ Manage creative development and maintenance of exhibition booth and equipment.​ Execute support requirements and attendance for all events and staff.​ Attend trade shows and execute trade show logistics.​ Interviewed and selected vendor for custom booth. Designed all signage for shows (reducing costs by $20K annually). · Advertising and Promotions. Lead creative development of corporate and print advertising for trade publications.​ Design and write all print and banner ads. Negotiate pricing, gain approval and execute advertising via web, periodicals, newsletters, email, etc.​ Manage selection and procurement of promotional items for corporate events.​ Negotiate with partners for cooperative marketing activities. · Collateral Material: Manage creation of collateral materials for print and website including data sheets, product info, application notes, user guides/​manuals, white papers, trade pub articles and corporate profiles.​ Standardized collateral look and feel using QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Edit all software documentation and white papers (eliminated need for outside vendor). Maintain correct inventory levels of all collateral materials; Coordinate printing of all collateral and mailings.
