Daily Duties at Micah Systems Inc.:
Responsible for supporting project to establish and standardize information strategy planning efforts within TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) using information enterprise models, information architecture, business system architectures, and related technical architecture. Also supported training of personnel in use of Case Tools and IEF practices. Performed as a member of programming team to convert programs which performed plant related functions for wastewater treatment plant, such as pump stations, automated emergency service and preventive maintenance work order systems. Modified and maintained automated emergency and preventive maintenance work order entry systems. Also designed and installed database conversion program to transfer customer accounting database from East Knoxville Utility District to Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) mainframe. Developed and installed on-line data entry system. Utilized ANSI COBOL in IBM 4381 VSE/VM environment with structured design techniques.
