Daily Duties at Emdeon Business Services:
I was a member of the billing team. In my position as Programmer Analyst IV I designed Oracle Forms applications to handle set up of billing pricing for our clients this allowed for price tiering of charges. This resulted in a major cost reduction for our clients and greatly reduced the chance of errors in client services pricing. I took over the completion of an Oracle database stored package to build the billing records to be used in the invoicing of our clients on a monthly basis. This stored package retrieved data from a remote database and inserted records in a billing table in a separate schema on the database. All the development and design was in PL/SQL. At my release I had created a stored procedure to take the customer information from separate databases and prepare that data for migration into a separate database to support a new web based billing system.
