Daily Duties at Motorola:

Developed and supported software for the Wireless Products Division in the database functional area using C and C++. Team supported a proprietary database which was needed for key functional areas for Motorola’s cellular infrastructure software such as call processing, fault management, and other functional areas within the department. My tasks consisted of the following: Developed and maintained software for Motorola’s Cellular Infrastructure Group; Led development in the database functional area on several feature projects which helped reduce customer’s cost and increased customer capacity; Facilitated/coordinated software problem resolutions. This consisted of providing problem status to management and assigning problems to the software engineering community for resolution; Authored feature requirements for software enhancement projects; Provided management time estimates for software development associated with robustness projects; Mentored and provided guidance to new hires and junior software engineers. • Supported test groups by verifying product code issues and by providing interim solutions/workarounds. • Coordinated and performed software builds (compiling and linking) between several functional areas for software releases.
