Daily Duties at Nrtc/Computer Horizons:

Conducted SCADA market analysis study for SCADA, radio and AMR applications. Responsible for the conceptual design and feasibility study for SCADA and Automated Meter Reading (AMR) systems integration for Rural Electric Cooperatives utilizing 220 MHz radio communications (RF). The study included evaluation of substation and distribution automation, power metering, line management, GIS, and AM/FM requirements. Supervised SCADA and 220 MHz radio system installation and tests for Kansas Electric Cooperative (Topeka).
