Daily Duties at Conpet Sa Romania:

Provided instrumentation, control systems, SCADA, Automation, Metering, Telecommunications (RF) consulting, and project management services for the rehabilitation of an import crude oil network (12 stations) and domestic crude oil network (20 stations). Assignment included system design review of P & ID’s and detailed engineering based on ABB micro-SCADA, RTUs and Advant AC410 PLC controllers, and communicating via fibre optic and microwave network. Provided detailed design engineering review of complete instrumentation, control, SAAB tank instrumentation, and Bristol-Meci metering systems. The project included training of Conpet pipeline dispatchers, performance of a QA audit at ABB facilities in Germany and Romania regarding software development, detailed engineering in accordance with ISO 9001:1994 and ISO 9000, Part 3, and factory acceptance testing of fully integrated SCADA and metering systems.
