Daily Duties at Shell:

Responsible for Foxboro I/A and Triconex ESD systems for Shell floating production topsides, hull, and subsea facilities. Responsibilities included review of AMEC functional safety and DCS specs, Foxboro programming software design specs and test procedures, Foxboro implementation of OPC servers, safety system design, communications, interface engineering (Modbus TCP & RS232C), instrumentation and control system architecture drawings and attending factory acceptance tests to verify integrated systems functionality. Also responsible for Quality Assurance software development audits of system supplier (Invensys) including software change management and change control procedures development/ implementation, applications software and serial interface factory acceptance testing.
