Daily Duties at Rockwell Art And Framing:

I started working with Rockwell Art and Framing as a customer bringing my work in to be framed. They needed marketing help and liked my personality and presentation so they brought me on board to assist with placing art in corporate spaces. With the current trend in the economy, I created an art leasing program to give businesses and individuals an opportunity to either try art, switch it out after a period of time, or buy it in installments. I decided to reach out to Architects and Interior Designers as many of them had the first steps inside a space that may desire such a thing. To follow up, I hosted a Designer Event at the gallery which included a variety of Designers and Architects and a presentation featuring custom sized reproductions. I have also come up with campaigns to reach out to the community to promote artists and our framing services. This includes placing art in empty retail spaces and inviting artists to show their work in the gallery. Currently I am redesigning the New Canaan Gallery for better presentation and marketing purposes. I am also creating a mailing for new home buyers to promote our services and create awareness.

What they like about Rockwell Art And Framing:

The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
