Daily Duties at Mastropiece:
I created a variety of custom commissions ranging from hand-painted silk garments and accessories, to oil paintings, to illustrations. Over the years, I have used Mastropiece as a vehicle to implement different artistic challenges in a more formal presentation. The hand-painted silk collection of clothing and accessories was featured at several prestigious juried art and craft shows in the tri-state area. I was responsible for presenting my collection for judging, marketing the show, producing the collection, pricing, packaging, presentation of the booth, selling, and following up with custom orders or alterations and finally replenishing my inventory. Oil painting has always been a great hobby of mine since the age of ten and with years of practice comes a certain proficiency. I enjoy working on my own pieces for my 'Cucina' and 'Greenhouse' collections but have also been hired to execute custom works for private clients. Estate Renderings came about when a friend asked me to do one as a wedding gift and it was recommended I turn this house portrait product into a business. I receive custom commissions from private clients and have created a fine product which includes notecards and professional framing. Currently I am preparing an email marketing campaign to Architects, Builders, and Real Estate Agents with a discount incentive to pass on to their clients.
