Daily Duties at Crown Equipment Corporation:
A Safety Technician’s job is to coordinate accident prevention processes, conduct safety training, and maintain safety compliance while investigating accidents and injuries and develop programs to keep safety the number one priority. A QMS coordinator’s job is to maintain quality at current ISO standards and conduct reviews of such requirements. 1. Held daily safety meetings with shop floor employees, and was in constant contact with management regarding any issues. 2. Helped to maintain current OSHA standards to decrease recordable and lost time injuries, and completed incident reports, investigation of any safety concerns and complete all necessary paperwork.. 3. Helped to develop Safe Steps Program, which is a behavior-based safety program for accident prevention practices. Was the facilitator of the Safe Steps Program, and met with Injury Prevention Team on a regular basis.
