Daily Duties at Connecticut Surgery Center:

I assisted the surgeon as a sterile team memeber on a variety of plastic surgery procedures ranging from abdominoplasty, breast augmentation or reduction, to rhinoplasty, blephoroplasty, and face lifts. Alongside the surgeon, I would hand him instruments, retract, suction fluids or smoke from the cautery, get all necessary meds and sutures on the field by communicating with non-sterile team members. My duties also included setting up the OR by selecting instruments and equipment for each procedure as well as breaking down and sterilizing instruments.

What they like about Connecticut Surgery Center:

You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
