Train and direct 4-person team comprised of a visiting professor, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate student to complete arthritic animal models. Collect, organize and analyze data, leveraging results to prepare articles for top-tier medical journals, presentations for medical meetings and conferences, and reports supporting grant applications. Key Contributions: * Scored top 3 out of more than 200 applicants to achieve recognition as Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF) scholar; additionally earned Young Investigator Award from ANRF. * Awarded hot topic recognition by Faculty of 1000 Medicine after pioneering research on implications of cyclooxygenase 1 in rheumatoid arthritis. * Isolated 20 highly up-regulated genes through microarray analysis of leukotriene B4 pre-treated, fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS). What they like about Harvard Medical School:
The social vibrance of a hiring firm is very important to you. Your ability to make and maintain friendships there is a critical part of your decision. You would likely be dissatisfied with a workplace that is quiet, cold, or otherwise not particularly social. When you investigate a new hiring company, ask recruiters, managers, and potential co-workers about the social life and opportunities there. This is especially important when you are relocating; moving dramatically alters your social sphere both inside and outside the workplace.
