Daily Duties at Urethane Plastics Inc.:
Actively participated in the manufacture of products to trouble shoot reported recurring problems. Resolved problems immediately without any recurrence thereafter. Increased efficiency of production with a modified and simplified manufacturing process. Regained confidence of production workers on product performance and accuracy of formulations while uniting them with R&D personnel. • Contributed solely a series of products in the company’s wish list: Re-enterable encapsulants (soft, low tear strength, clear polyurethane for the tellecomunication and power industries), industrial low “VOC” coatings for architectural applications, castable high tear strength polyurethanes of varying hardnesses for “freezer” doors, rollerblade wheels, swims fins, bicycle seat pads, hand gloves inserts,etc. • Saved the company from possible litigation from my predecessor’s inability to deliver a product. Completed a troubled project in less than a month with full property testing and manufacturing Specifications. Delivered 30,000 processed highway markers on promised date. • Regained confidence of customers and suppliers for the company with active participation in trade shows, conventions, seminars with presentations of new products • Increased revenues for the company by 100% on the first year alone of my service. • Organized fully the R&D and QC departments with complete records on formulations, product characteri-zations, raw material database, technical and material safety data sheets • Equipped the company with basic instrumentation from the revenues gained
