Daily Duties at Marine Fenders International Inc.:
Marine Fenders and Poly-Granite International are wholly owned by one person and are both in the same location as start-up companies that broke away from Urethane Products Inc. Aggressively reformulated the industry supplied start-up polyurea spray coating formulations for immediate application in the manufacture of fenders and buoys. Arranged for immediate sampling and testing of reformulated products enabling the company to accept orders from the United States Navy and other private institutions for marine fenders and buoys. • Enabled the company to stay competitive in the business with continued effort in reducing /maintaining the products’ total cost through continuous development work on raw material substitutions, improved product formulations, improved processes, improved over-all efficiency in product manufacture and quality control • Periodically brought back to specification batches that have been out-of-specification due to operator errors thus saving the total cost of the batch and avoiding additional cost in hazardous waste disposal • Developed, installed and implemented a computerized program for raw material and finished Product Inventory and Monthly Accounting
