Daily Duties at Msm Security Services:
• Review/Process Personnel Security Questionnaire(s) (Eqip, SF 86 and SF 85P) – separate the investigation into difference parts (based on geographical area and coverage requirements) to allow the field investigation to be conducted as efficiently as possible. • Scoped cases according to type. • Verify information submitted on applications by guidelines provided by the Federal government • Contact subjects via telephone/e-mail to complete information on background investigation forms. • Retrieve credit date from credit bureaus. • Request Local Agency Checks (LACS) from law enforcement offices. • Review report to determine if subject has criminal record, traffic violation, etc. • Input incoming cases into data base. • Prepare statistical report on investigations. • Copy and assemble cases in a timely manner. • File all incoming correspondence into file folders in required order. • Train new PSOs and oversee their work.
