Daily Duties at Verizon:
Held P&L responsibility for the $160M Wireless and Wholesale business. Formulated and executed sales and marketing strategies for the Wireless and Wholesale Directory Assistance and Mobile Search segment. Directed new product creation and positioning strategies through a team of Product Managers. Developed sales leads and sold LiveSource products and services directly to the nation’s largest wireless carriers. Led a team of Account Executives to success in the Mobile Search space. Represented Verizon at industry events through speaking engagements and sponsorship. • Delivered immediate sales results by successfully positioning LiveSource services to one of the nation’s largest wireless carriers for an estimated contract value of over $100M. • Implemented “Roadmap 2.0”, a suite of new product features targeted specifically at users of wireless “smartphones”. • Successfully closed a long-standing negotiation with the nation’s largest telecommunications provider, resulting in the renewal of a contract for Directory Assistance services as well as the settlement of a $3.1M dispute. • Gained agreement from a large wireless carrier for the renewal of their $70+M contract in the face of a looming, lower-priced competitor.
