Daily Duties at The Residence Inn By Marriott:
• Planned, directed and, through subordinates, supervised facility management services including aquatic facility maintenance, repair and improvement of a 25,000-gallon pool and 900 gallon whirlpool (including D.E. filters, pumps, Chemtrol Units, as well as balancing and treating), custodial services and security operations. Coordinated building and maintenance activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of personal and equipment; billed, reported to and advised clients regarding treatment and preventative maintenance of pools, generated and integrated sales reports. • Developed job descriptions; successfully recruited, hired, trained, supervised, scheduled and evaluated staff; recognized, developed and enforced operating and safety standards and procedures; established and enforced operating and safety standards and procedures for maintenance services and repair; gave direction, resolved problems, prepared work schedules and set deadlines to ensure completion of services; coordinated and taught in-service training in a variety of Health, Safety and First Aid courses for a staff of five (5) lifeguards and professional staff of over six (6) hotels.
