Daily Duties at New Mexico State University Main Campus:

The College of Extended Learning oversees two degree programs as well as the university's Distance Education programs. Responsibilities also included Weekend College, Teaching Academy, Media Technology Services, the Regional Educational Technology Assistance program, and a variety of funded projects. Noted accomplishments include: - Increased online enrollment 140% from fall 2002 to fall 2003 and an additional 94% from 2003 to 2004. - Established and directed the Bachelor of Applied Studies and Bachelor of Individualized Studies degree completion programs. - Served as a founding member of the New Mexico Virtual College Planning Team and later as a member of the Management Team. - Developed funding opportunities, such as NASA Space Telescope Grant, NSF-ATE, FIPSE, TOP, Sloan, Digital Pathways, etc. - Online Graduate instructor for the College of Education in Educational Management and Development.
