Daily Duties at Thomson Financial :

Managed and oversaw the staffing and recruitment function within Thomson Financial at the Rockville, MD Office; including IT and finance positions while providing assistance to all levels of management with hiring decisions. Also oversee, supervise, and make strategic decisions for the recruiting function for Thomson Financial’s Rockville Recruitment Dept. This entailed coordination of recruitment functions; managing a staff, screening and resume distribution while developing processes and strategic vision for the recruitment function. Counseling applicants and managers about HR-related issues (compensation, benefits, etc.) Develop and maintain corporate HR initiatives related to recruitment, which include employee referral programs, internal/external job postings (advertisement and internal job posting), additional recruitment alternatives (Internet, on-campus recruitment, internships, etc.), compensation surveys, employee relations, and various other HR duties and/or projects as assigned.
