Daily Duties at Chrysler Llc.:
• Coordinate and direct maintenance activities for the skilled trades crew in the Aluminum Valve Body and Pump Valve Body machining lines for the Chrysler 45RFE rear wheel drive transmission. • Direct department work force in daily reactive maintenance activities as well as work with TPM teams on planning necessary work on equipment for predictive and preventative maintenance. • Lead maintenance teams to be a support group to the production staff in order for them to meet goals that affect safety, quality, throughput, scrap reduction and cost control. • Trained in the philosophies of TPM in order to encourage team participation and involvement, and use those concepts in conjunction with the aspects of Lean Manufacturing. Encourage employees to take ownership of processes and work towards implementing improvements, such as scrap and cost reduction, and increasing throughput and quality metrics. • Continuously involved with specifying and ordering necessary parts and equipment needed for planned maintenance work. • Able to read and interpret machine drawings including; electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical
