Daily Duties at Mea Financial Services/Paradigm Equities, Inc.:
Responsible for monitoring and enforcing all Rules of Fair Practice and compliance regulations of FINRA, the SEC, the MSRB and the State of Michigan for a financial services office of 50+ sales representatives and 15 support staff. Areas of oversight include testing and updating internal controls, policies and procedures; developing and delivering the Firm’s continuing education/firm element program; review and approval of website, advertising, sales literature and correspondence; review and approval of client investment applications; investigating and resolving customer complaints; preparation and submission of required regulatory filings; securing insurance and securities license registrations and appointments for all associated persons; testing and updating of the Firm’s Anti-Money Laundering Policy, Business Continuity Plan and Privacy Policy; conducting OSJ and branch office audits. Coordinate with auditors of FINRA, SEC, State of Michigan MSRB during regulatory examinations. Serve as one of nine senior managers responsible for corporate planning and decision making.
