Daily Duties at Spx Air Gage Company:

This company manufactures custom “engineer to order” automatic inline gage inspection and tooling for OEM automotive, military, medical and recreational companies. Inspection room certified to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology's) Supervisor, Rework & Repair Department through Program Manager / Project Engineer Managed programs at Ford, Visteon, GM, Delphi, BWA and Chrysler, and oversaw installation and training at 3 international sites. Supervisor, Rework & Repair Department Resolved work flow issues, improved quote process and implemented team-based methods. Increased volume 43%, shortened lag time from 1 month to 2 weeks and boosted revenue 433% to $8 million. Managed scheduling, resource allocation, estimating and throughput; improved customer satisfaction. Program management was an extension of sales. Most return customers requested me to manage their programs. My professional training includes process control, standardizing design for automated gauging applications for an "engineered to order" gauge systems and quality systems.
