Drove strategic planning and revenue generation using epidemiological justification to project needs of persons living with and impacted by HIV/AIDS throughout Los Angeles. Generated statistical analysis to allocate funding in health districts. Conducted large scale periodic needs assessments to determine additional requirements by relevant populations. Reported to AIDS Director. • Designed and implemented a strategic planning process to address comprehensive funding for all medical and prevention HIV/AIDS-related services in Los Angeles County (Annual Revenues: $100 – 145 million). • Analyzed and reported health care trends using source data from the Federal, State, and local governments to a 56-member HIV Health Services Commission. • Represented Los Angeles County at State and Federal meetings concerning HIV/AIDS policy and funding issues. • Supervised a Planning Analyst, Health Educator, and Administrative Assistant within the Policy and Planning unit.
