Daily Duties at Social & Scientific Systems:

Managed Operation Center activities supporting a global clinical trials network. Directed quality control and managed implementation that enabled centralized management of 40 studies designed to test drug treatment and prevention regimens in women, children, and adolescents. Accountable for leading a staff of 35 dedicated professionals in the United States and Africa. Reported to Group Vice Presidents. •Restructured financial, information, and communications systems to meet client needs. •Managed a P&L of $20.4 million dollars. •Managed client relations between the National Institutes of Health, Network Leadership, internal senior management, and 255 HIV/AIDS investigators in the United States, Thailand, Brazil, and India. •Planned and coordinated large conferences and meetings for Network participants. •Staffed and opened an office in Kampala, Uganda to meet real-time operational and HIV Community needs.
