1999 - 2001 Reconciliation Analyst: Reconciled and researched bank accounts to verify the validity of operational and bank transaction processing to minimize monetary liability. Also performed accounting functions to ensure that offsetting items had proper documentation for audit purposes. Processed daily wire transfers where necessary to ensure accounts were never overdrawn. Reconciled the largest Van Kampen fund in this position. 1998 - 1999 Telephone Transactions Specialist: Responded to incoming transaction calls for redemptions, exchanges, transfers, account maintenance, etc. Followed call path (security checks), to ensure proper authorization was obtained from shareholders and brokers, in order to complete their transaction processing. Consistently provided efficient customer service above the standard company guidelines. 1994 - 1998 Electronics Funds Transfer Specialist: Responsible for researching, authorizing and releasing Wire Transfers, Automated Clearing House transactions, and Check-Writing transmissions by bank. Initiated direct contact with shareholders, brokers, and banks to ensure funding for their automated transmissions. Also responsible for complying the cash flow information external auditors used to audit the Cash Management cycles. Implemented procedure to research foreign wire transfers prior to transmitting the funds rather than after the funds were returned which saved the company money in returned wire charges. 1991 - 1994 Corporate Action Analyst: Monitored and controlled the 12b1, Dividend and Systematic Withdrawal Payment (SWP) cycles, including input and verification of daily prices and accruals. Audited system controls related to 12b1, dividend and SWP processing at the fund and account levels to ensure accurate information was reported to shareholders and brokers. Also responsible for complying the dividend information external auditors used to audit the individual mutual funds. 1989 - 1991 Fund Services Specialist: Responsible for researching and resolving complex account problems and/or corrections to shareholder account inquiries, and also processed transactions for our internal customers. Also performed customer service functions for the various Van Kampen offices across the country. 1988 - 1989 Redemptions Processor: Processed written requests for redemptions from shareholders and brokers. Proceeds from these transactions could be sent via check, wire transfers, or ACH.
