Daily Duties at Peekskill Community Hospital:
Set-up x-ray room for patient. Prepare oral contrast. Using low-radiation techniques (MA, KV and time) to image scans. Set up power injector and program volume and flow rate for exam. Give post exam instructions. Set up room for next patient. Stock x-ray room. In Angiography, set up angio suite, prepare power injector with contrast and prepare flow rate/volume. With the Radiologist assistance prepare guide wires, sheaths, coils and any other instrumentation that is needed.
