Mid Rockland Imaging Work Values

Daily Duties at Mid Rockland Imaging:

Check the patient schedule and get prior history for returning patients. Check with nursing staff to see if MRI patients needed bloodwork before MRI exam. Stock the MRI suite with needed supplies. Get protocols from Radiologist on MRI exams. Set up MRI room for patients exam. Set up power injector with Gadolinium and set flow rate and volume if needed. Have patients changed into gowns prior to their exam. Went over history/safety questions before patient going into the MRI room. Set up exam protocols (slice thickness, spacing, fov and so on)as recommended by Radiologist. Monitored patient while exam is being done. On RIS system, complete information on patients symtoms, history, surgeries, and other pertinent information for Radiologist. After exam inform patient of their post exam instructions. Reconstruct acquired images if needed. Move MRI images into PACS. Set up MRI room for next patient.
