Daily Duties at Air Serv Corporation:
- Managed all Accounting, Month/Year End Close, Payroll, IT, Insurance and Risk Management, Treasury, Audits and Tax. Five direct reports and total staff of 14. Provide analysis, tactical and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors, Chairman, Officers and other members of management. - Negotiated and closed over $30 million in Senior and Subordinated debt financing, including Line of Credit, Mezzanine Financing, Capital Leases, Letters of Credit and Term Loans. - Raised $16 million in private equity funding partnering with our Chairman, CEO and CFO. - Improved working capital by $2M in first 90 days through process improvement and improvement in policies in AP cycle, and reduction in DSO. - Led capital raising initiative after our 3 largest airline clients filed bankruptcy closing on an additional $3 million of mezzanine debt financing. - Outsourced existing in-house IT desktop support and network management to a proactive managed solution providing cost savings and improved service levels for over 400 users. - Developed financial forecasts and interim reports that provided management with labor management and expense tracking tools that improved gross margin at least 1.5%. - Managed entire risk management and insurance programs totaling over $10M where I restructured self retention programs improving working capital. - Saved interest costs of over $1.5 million annually through working capital improvements and debt restructuring.
