Daily Duties at Opexa Therapeutics:

While working at Opexa as a CRA I worked in the areas of CNS, Multiple Sclerosis and Immunology. I performed routine site visits, including initiation, interim and closeout visits. I performed detailed review of subject records, essential documents, investigational product disposition and accountability. I trained site personnel on procedures for the assigned trial. I worked on both Phase 1, and Phase 2b trials. I managed assigned sites by regular contacts to ensure site compliance, adequate enrollment, and understanding of study requirements. I was directly involved with conducting and overseeing audits of CRO/Vendors capabilities and performance. I am familiar with working in an FDA regulated environment (GMP, GTP), and the clinical trial process (ICH, GCP). I am knowledgeable in the areas of immunology, biology and cell culture through my work at Opexa. I have excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently without direct supervision. Proven ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously while still maintaining excellent work performance. Streamlined and oversaw the program used to manage, track, and approve all vaccines for the Phase2b trial (750 total). I was also responsible for the tracking and reconciliation of all missing or late blood samples.
