Directed the financial activities for a multi-state temporary employment agency. Responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, GL, treasury, payables and collections. Provided financial support to executive management. Highlighted unusual trends and variances against plan. Principle contact with parent office on all financial issues. Ensured compliance with company policies and controls. Coordinated the preparation of our Federal and State tax returns.  Maintained all aspects of the accounting cycle, financial statements, general ledger, reconciliations, journal entries and keeping an audit trail  Reviewed financial performance against plan and took corrective action as necessary  Prepared the annual financial profit plan and quarterly forecasts  Implemented MS Dynamics accounting and reporting software  Assisted in the due diligence process leading to the acquisition of the Holland Group  Worked with the lending bank on the annual renewal of the credit and facility agreement resulting in more favorable terms and lower fees  Ensured availability of cash sufficient to fund operations  Coordinated various external audits as required  Negotiated operating leases throughout seven States  Managed IT functions.
