Daily Duties at Indian River Memorial Hospitaql:
I was responsible for implementation and training of the computer based menu system, Nutrinet. Recorded and translated physician orders to appropriate menu type and entered into patient records. I visited patients for meal choices and handled any complaints by visiting and responding to the patients and families. I worked in a supportive role to all trainees and all food service employees. I provided support to the Clinical Nutrition Manager in the task of job redesign to move forward in room service operations. I was a member of the Patient Satisfaction Committee for 3 years. Assisted in new job descriptions based on the results of those analysis. I was responsible for meal temp.s, tray line, 16 employees , handled cash receipts from cafeteria. ($60K/sales/monthly.)Responsible for the entire operations on late night and weekend shifts, which included patient services, catering, grill, and cafeteria operations.
