Daily Duties at Matria Healthcare Inc.:
Supervisor of Desktop Support Operations included the supervision of 8 support technicians and supported 800+ users. Supervised all hardware and software support for networks and PC's and was Level 3 Escalation support for all network infrastructure and desktop systems. Operated and supported Microsoft OS from DOS to WinXP, Novell, AIX AS/400 systems. Supported all MS Office applications and Lotus Notes systems for local and remote users and sites. Responsible for repair, RMA of HP and Lexmark printers. Supported network infrastructure including: Cisco routers & switches, hubs, and data circuits. Installed and supported many proprietary applications for Matria. All systems supported were in a 24/7 operational environment. Acted as Purchase Agent for Matria IT Dept, buying all network & PC hardware, software and peripherals. Managed and administered departmental operations, from project rollouts to desktop support, network cabling & facilities management and invoice/purchase order approval processing.
