Daily Duties at Mc Kesson Provider Technologies:

Level 2/3 Support & Administration of McKesson CareBridge Network, WAN Systems, Server Systems. Administered WAN / LAN network routing, BGP routing, access list setup and troubleshooting of diverse network topology composed of Cisco 6509 Switches, Cisco PIX routers, Nortel Contivity VPN concentrators, proxy firewall systems, Web filtering and access control systems using Cisco ACS firewalls and Bluecoat devices. Use and support of network monitoring systems such as Netcool, What’s-Up Gold, CA E-Health and Spectrum products, Wireshark and Observer packet analysis tools for network connectivity troubleshooting. Worked On-Call after hours escalation contact for all CareBridge issues on rotation basis. Provided Project Management & Systems Analysis of networks, applications and equipment to determine network and systems needs for internal McKesson Support, Internal Business units and Customers requiring CareBridge Services. Support of AT&T MDNS & eVPN circuit and network connectivity in all aspects from general WAN connectivity for remote support to B2B IP-IP routing and ISP operations via the AT&T network over CareBridge GRE tunnels and firewalls. Subject matter expert for all AT&T CMS/Medicare connectivity and business issues for hospitals, insurance providers and Clearinghouse customers. This required knowledge of AT&T networks setup, IP routing and BGP routing in order to get customers access to CMS and other Medicare Insurance contractors. Worked with hospitals and CMS to determine business case needs for access and daily operations of insurance systems. Secure remote access administration and support for RSA ACE DB and Secure Token systems, Juniper Neoteris systems, Cisco ACS Authentication system for 7000+ users. Setup and maintained DNS records and IP access for hundreds of customers’ systems and applications for use by end users at hospitals. Support of internal firewalls and proxy servers used for remote access to clients’ systems by McKesson Support and internal & external CareBridge network customers. Support of 30+ Windows, Linux and UNIX servers running all the CareBridge infrastructure systems and products. Support of Bluecoat Permeo proxy software used for access to all CareBridge accessible customer hosts. Administered many systems like CareBridge MS Active Directory systems for all internal users of systems. Administration of web servers for legacy customer remote access systems.
