Daily Duties at Hamilton Altman Canale & Dillon:

 Trial preparation and attendance at trial  Summarize deposition and trial testimony, both medical and non-technical in nature.  Draft correspondence, memorandums and pleadings/legal documents as necessary.  Subpoena and analyze essential discovery and evidence, e.g. medical records, surveillance/PI, damages, etc.  Monitor and ensure compliance with discovery requests and pertinent court deadlines.  Regularly communicate with clients, experts, insurance carriers, opposing counsel and outside agencies.  Conduct legal research, DRI/expert background research, cite-checking and proofreading as needed.  Analyze discovery to determine follow-up, potential discrepancy and damages. Prepare summaries as needed. Accomplishments: ~ Implemented office system regarding court scheduling orders/deadlines to improve attorney/paralegal efficiency. ~ Implemented trial presentation software and associated reference system for use during trial.
