Daily Duties at Northrop Grumman Marine Systems, Sunnyvale, Ca:

• Deputy Program Manager, Electrical Engineering Group, responsible for electrical power generation and associated system designs on CVN-78 class NAVAL aircraft carriers. Provide leadership and direct all phases of project(s)/program(s) including acquiring, planning, and managing technical performance to ensure quality, business and financial objectives are attained. • Coordinate trade studies, interfaces, technical reviews, proposals, system performance analyses, and risk management. Represent the Company with customers, ensure technical leadership and excellence are maintained; champion the development of new or expansion of existing business opportunities. • Responsibilities include directing the preparation and control of process specifications, directing engineer in the analysis of service failures, providing assistance to Manufacturing and Quality Assurance department. Planning and managing technical tasks (including technical, schedule and cost performance); documenting and presenting task results (analysis, design and test tasks) and status to program and division management as well as to customers. • Responsible for the planning, managing and technical performance of the Power Systems Product Line. Successfully designing and managing high power level power conversion equipment in a team environment.
